is using nylon rope for a zip line safe?
using it on a steep hill where you would gain lots of speed? would the rope not snap and causing serious injury upon impact?
just wondering because my brother wants to create one using nylon, and he seems quite careless for his own well being!
==== the nylon rope will weather and stretch very quickly and is therefore a very poor choice for a zip line _____________ besides it is NOT safe for this purpose ... nylon rope is for a clothes line or for a ski tow rope ....... tell your brother he is playing with his life ----- buy steel cable ... and the brakes on the ""true zip line"" hangers will chew up the rope in two down hill runs .... save money and time and lives and USE the cable .....
