i received a phone call from a record message saying ive won a holiday (although i havent enter my name into anything) next it said press 1 for details and i just hung up thinking it be a con and it might charge my bill premium rates, this isnt the first time this has happen and last time i hung up too. have anyone else had these call?

If I were to buy a calling card to give the name someone long distance from my home phone. Would it show up on my next phone bill? Like the number I call that is. for ex. vote his number is[made it up] : 15125166714 will his actual number apear on the home phone bill? Im just really worried give or take a few the number showing up on the phone bill. This is really important.

Issues beside voicemail for a landline.?
So, I got a unusual house phone about a year ago. I be never the one to mess with anything, my ex be. I moved to a new house, tentative number, but kept the same phone. Trouble is, my earpiece still constantly says, "New Voice Mail" on the display. I hold no idea how to check it, erase it, anything. I've googled, looked at the manufacturer website...can't find anything. Aforementioned phone is a Panasonic. Model number is KX-TGA101S. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Mpingi Suck..?
It's a totally chennai based company who try to cheat the customers exactly same close to any indian company. Such a worst service I ever had surrounded by this country. I ordered my device and waited for 2 months to receive the device. After I got the service they took 2 days to initiate the service. And still I couldn't able to ring up my indian mpingi no for more than 2 weeks after that they given a series of dial-in nos just close to a phone card to call my indian mpingi procession. None of the tollfree nos works in this device. I cancelled the service after 3 weeks of miserable experience. The company claims me to charge more than 100 dollars. I would suggest you to choose any service save for mpingi, its a nightmare. Please dont get yourself contained by to trouble. I got a vonage its really great, I call one day evening and get the device next morning. I just plugged the device its started working amazing. No copied stuffs like Mpingi. I know couple of friends who use packet8 and they are also jovial with their service.

why? after you dial the first three numbers, it automatically says that this phone can not be completed as dialed. it does this for my whole clan, we all enjoy the same first three numbers. it get calls from other cell phones fine.

I have a shop next to 2 lines and dsl. We've always have problems with the lines, and own had provider out various times. My biggest problem is that the person on the other lapse can hardly hear me discussion most of the time, especially when I make the nickname, and especially long distance. I have filter on every jack, and it does it on both lines, not just the one. The provider have replaced my equipment on their end, and hold replaced wires going to the business. All of my main phones are brand exotic, multi-line phones, but problem has existed next to older ones as in good health. Any suggestions? It's very big because it's a business, and I spend a lot of time making phone call. Also, cell phone users complain they get an ring on their end, but I never enjoy any of these problems, I can hear everybody just fine. Please HELP! Thanks ahead of time!

89 taurus wont charge?

voltage coming into voltage regulator on yellow wire is 12 volts, voltage out of regulator on orange wire to alternator is 1.5 volts, ive already replaced voltage reg, and i to assume that the new regulator is bad?

Get a multi-meter and set it on DC volts. Measure the voltage across the battery terminals while the car is running. It should be somewhere between 13 and 14.5 volts. If it's too low you probably have a further problem with your alternator.
