How do I turn off the touch screen on my Acer Laptop?

I have an Acer Aspire 5738P touch screen laptop. The screen was recently cracked during transportation, and now the touch screen is freaking out and making it incredibly hard to use. I have perused the Control Panel to great extent, but can't figure out how to just disable the touch screen so it stops wigging out.
