when the wire comes out of the tool can it be fixed?
the cable wire is attached to a metal which is plugged into a socket, our cable wire came out the other day and my husband fixed it with tape isn't there another way to for the cable to be fixed? The cable wire is from the satelite reciever. Also can we buy another wire like that if there is a problem?

If you are talking about a simple short cable that runs from the outlet to the TV, yes you can not only repair it but you can buy them in lengths as well. If you are handy and can strip the wire and make sure you follow the directions on the cable package then it is an easy fix. They sell a FS-2 connector that simply twists on the cable. If you do not want try this then buy a new cable in the length you need it can be longer no problem as long as it is not real long. Cable wires for satellites do have an outer shield so make sure it is done properly fo it to get its full low voltage potential to the receiver and the dish too.
