Will an Xbox 360 VGA to Generic PnP Monitor lag?
I have a 37" tube TV, and it's 5+ years old. The people in the distance were starting to look like blobs. I want to hook my Xbox 360 up to by Dell Inspiron 1720's generic PnP 1400x900 LCD monitor through a VGA input, and a Xbox 360 VGA cable with an HD on/off switch.
Will there be any more lag than my 2001 sharp tube TV? Somebody said that the lag would great, even up to half a second, making most games uplayable. Is that true? How much lag would there be?
No lags.
The XBox 360 has native VGA support built into its graphics system. That is why it will work with VGA monitors when you connect the XBox 360 to it using the XBox HDAV VGA cable. Not sure what you mean by "HD on/off switch", but the Microsoft XBox HDAV VGA cable can output HD resolutions (I don't think it has a switch).
