OSX Lion is coming out next year of 2011 and I'm 14 and all I could get was the 2006 BLACK (: Macbook, but I don't think it's going to be compatible with the new OS because of it's fading date specs (coming out of date) but it might because it has a higher GHZ speed then the new air and more RAM
Apple has historically been good about supporting older hardware, so odds are that you'll be fine. They haven't released the hardware requirements for Lion yet so you may just have to wait and see. If there are problems then a RAM upgrade will probably be all you'll need.
