What modem to use w/ 15dbi omni antenna to obtain a wifi signal?
I have a 4 foot 15dbi omni antenna w/ low loss cable to connect to a desktop. I need to know what modem to get that will run this antenna to pick up a signal about 500 feet away with a clear path. The connection from the cable to the modem is a RP-SMA. (the modem needs to have a male end to connect the cable to it). Thanks for any input.
