how to fix a broken lug nut screw?
I was removingy lug nuts when one of the screws broke off. my car is a 1989 honda accord lx. i inspected it to try and find out how to replace it but i couldnt figure anything out. i appreciate any help and thanks in advance.
Yes this happens quite often. First off it is call a wheel stud for lug nuts. If this is on your drive axle you will have to take the drive axle off your car. If not you may be able to air punch or hammer this out. You need to press a new wheel stud in with a bench press or a hydralic pump press. Check your local junk yard for parts to replace existing stud. Good luck!
