It is a DVC sub, 2-ohm per coil. You need an amp that is rated at 2000 watts RMSx1@4-ohms or @1-ohm. That is for one sub. Now, you can use a less powerful amp. You can use an amp rated at 500 watts RMS if you want. It won't be as loud though. What box will you be using it in?
