What controls the 2 LOWEST air conditioning settings in a 2000 Dodge Durango?
The 2 HIGHEST settings on my Dodge Durango air knob don't work. I've seen a lot of issues with the low settings not working, but my situation is the opposite. I am wondering if the blower motor resistor controls these settings. If not, does anyone know how to fix this issue?
the blower motor resistor does help to control that and so does the main switch,i have been replacing a lot of switches lately in some of the durango,s for the same problem,the resistor controls all the speeds on it except high and in a few cases i have seen them fail and you would have no fan speed at all,but as a default they all should work in the high position if the resistor fails,if it has climate control on that switch also helps to control the speeds of it,if it was me id start with the main switch or the resistor,good luck
