Hi Def Details Showcase
Total time to complete was 5 hours. I wish I would have had a video camera on when the owner saw the finished product. As we pulled the car out of the garage she screamed "Oh sh*t that's my car??! No way that's my car!". Classic.
If you want to scream like a school girl, bring your car to Hi Def Auto Detail. Visit our website www.hidefdetail.com and book an appointment. Don't forget Hi Def G-5 Performance Wax is now available for purchase at our shop for only $19.99. Stay tuned for more launch news on Hi Def 1080 Paint Sealant.
We love feedback, so give us a shout on the board or Follow Us On Facebook! Thanks for following us!
he owner of this Scion is a college student and is new to the car scene, but she is catching the bug fast and wanted to Drive In Hi-Definition. She washes her car herself but was in need of professional help to remove the dreaded black car swirls, and some deep scratches. We would focus our efforts to the exterior only.
Here's what tHere's the naked truth. Once we removed all the dirt and old wax from the paint and it revealed some pretty nasty "wash marring", general swirls and deeper scratches on the hood, trunk deck and front fenders. Oh yeah and a gnarly "pinstripe" scratch that ran down the passenger door.
Here's the paint correction process:
Step 1: Compounding - M105 (Flex 3401 w/Purple Foam Wool)
Step 2: Polish - M205 (Flex 3401 w/Yellow Foam Pad)
Step 3: Glaze - Hi Def G-5 Wax (Flex 3401 w/White Foam Pad)
Step 4: LSP - Hi Def 1080 Paint Sealant (by hand w/MF Applicator Pad)
Once all the swirls and scratches were removed -the Scion provided a opportunity to test out our new Hi Def "Deep Gloss Combo" Hi Def G-5 Wax and Hi Def 1080 Paint Sealant. Application of the Hi Def Combo was easy, using the Flex on low speed setting (3) with a LC White Finishing pad. We removed the G-5 residue with Hi Def Super Polymer and moved on to the LSP step. To give the car long lasting protection and a deep rich gloss we applied our proto-type sealant "Hi Def 1080" by hand with a microfiber applicator pad. It was quite amazing watching the Hi Def 1080 cure on the paint. The best way to explain it was that the paint literal "shrunk" around the sheet metal. Tight! Minutes later the shine started to pop. Awesome.... Here are the final results.he car looked like when it arrived to us:

What kind of trigger is reccommended for a Proto Matrix 07?
I just got a Proto Matrix 07, but I hate the stock trigger. I cut down the spring and put the gun's sensitivity to 1, but now the trigger will stick to the gun sometimes. Any trigger type reccommendations, and where i can find them? (ordering online is ok)
