I have an old Military Civil War pin, crossed muskets with a "4" on top & "G" on bottom. What does this mean?

Ocularne is close but...Cross Rifles is Infantry. Remember, Civil War units were PURE REGIMENT. So it means G Company, 4th Infantry Regiment.
