HGV is an older term, as the newer and more official term is LGV, or Large Goods Vehicle. The two terms are used interchangeably; however, most people in the UK haulage industry prefer the term HGV. So don't be confused by HGV and LGV - they mean exactly the same thing.

Necessities for LGV Driver Training:

LGV license for the largest vehicles are divided into two classes, C and C+E. Class C LGV is for vehicle which weighs over 7.5 tones and class C+E license allow you to drive a larger articulated vehicle with inclusion of a trailer. However, before you must have class C license before you can train for your class C+E license; and you must have a standard UK driving license prior to you can train for either of these. In case of age factor, you have to be at least 18 to train for a class C license and over 21 for the class C+E.

Theory Test:

The training process of HGV license training or LGV license training in the UK is just like learning to drive a car; it includes both a practical and theory test. In phase of theory test, you have to answer a series of multiple choice questions and these questions test your knowledge of the legal and practical aspects of being an LGV driver.

Practical Test:

In phase of practical test, you will be assessed on your ability to drive an LGV vehicle in an assortment of conditions and it includes a variety of turning as well as reverses manoeuvres in a confined space and a period of road driving. The entire test lasts 90 minutes; however, once you have passed both the practical and the theory test, you'll have your license.

Cost of LGV Driver Training:

The cost of LGV driver varies; however, independent training at a number of LGV training centers costs around £1000, half-day and full day lessons available.

Nowadays, many online sources are available to provide lorry driver training, Bus training, lorry training, PCV driver training, truck training, coach training and driver CPC training. If you want to drive an LGV which is transporting hazardous materials then you will need to have an Advisory Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) certificate, which is valid for five years and then after you have to take a refresher course.

What order should my guitar pedals go in?

Vox Wah, EVH Phase 90, Boss DS-1, Boss Super Overdrive, Boss Blues Driver,

doesn't matter much; experiment.

I would start with the following order and then see what produces best sound and least noise:

any overdrive pedal, followed by phaser then wah.

If the wah acts as a volume pedal also, definitely put it last.

The idea is to have the cleanest signal presented to the highest-gain pedal (the distortion pedal) and the vol/wah last. You don't want to present a low-level signal to a high-gain pedal, which is what would happen if the wah was acting as a volume control before presenting signal to the distortion pedal. And some wahs are noisy so the distortion pedal would amplify that noise instead of filtering the beefy signal that is the output of your distortion pedal.. Yes this is exactly opposite what John D said, so try both and see what works best for you.

I'm not sure why you have three distortion pedals - using all at once will generate tons of noise with little additional benefit. If you really like and need all three, consider getting an A/B pedal (or a three-input choice, i.e. A/B/C) pedal so you can switch in just one dist pedal at a time.

Likely tho that you can get all three sounds from the one pedal that has the most gain; just back off the volume on your guitar for a bluesy or crunch distortion, and crank it all the way open for saturated distortion.
