If the center tapped of the transformer is grounded, will both of the output signals will be half the voltage if transformer was not tapped and we had just one signal at the output?
The first responder was correct. The voltage from each end of the transforner`s secondary to the center tap is equal in amplitude and 180 degrees out of phase with each other. The entire voltage across the secondary can also be used but neither end of the secondary can be grounded since the center tap is grounded
