Can anyone tell me what this "Job description" mean ?

What does this job description mean?
ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
•Read and interpreted mechanical, optical, and electric specifications
•Achieved exceptional accuracy with using multi-meters, digital oscilloscopes, DVM and function generators
•Generated test reports in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

can you tell me the daily routine of an employee who's doing this kind of a work because I want to know if I would like to do it. I am assuming he stands on an assembly line waiting for different electronic components to arrive ?.. am I right??

What does he do . Does he have electronic products/components coming up to him on a hourly basis , every day and he has to check the Input voltages/Output voltages etc ?

Is there a list on a paper that will describe which components to check every day ? How does it work ?

He is a test technician. He will be given specifications, test equipment and items to test and will be expected to completely test all the components to a high degree of accuracy and then generate a test report using computers.

I doubt he will be 'standing at a assembly line'. He will be given a test bench to work from. He may be expected to repair the items but most likely will be returning them to rework stations.

No, there will not be 'a list of components' to check. He will be expected to know what tests will be appropriate for the results he needs. It is a skilled job, requiring technical qualifications.
