This is easy. Kicker zx500.1 from ebay. Makes 500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms. Perfect for a single CVR that is dual 4 ohms.

Will be a good amount cheaper than 300 dollars, too.

If you run a 4 ohm sub off of a 1 ohm stable amp, the amp just wont produce as much power. Example, here are typical ratings for an amp.

400 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms
750 watts x 1 @ 2 ohms
1200 watts x 1 @ 1 ohm
