Multimeter Leads Too Large?
I've been looking all over the internet for the answer to this but it seems that it doesn't exist. I have a multimeter, and I'd like to use it to test the voltage of a small battery (Li-Ion), but the leads are too large to reach the contacts on the battery, which are sheathed in plastic. I suppose the only way to measure would be to use a small piece of wire to reach the contacts in the battery, but I'm not sure if this would affect the accuracy of the measurement.
Basically I need to know how to test really small things when the leads don't reach.
This was my solution. http://octopus.freeyellow.com/nifty.html

Try whatever you use out on a known good battery.
