As a rule of thumb the MAF should display 1 g/s for each brake horsepower the car has, so a 180 BHP car would max out at 180 g/s when measuring the MAF. At idle the front oxygen sensor usually takes the lead in dictating the air fuel ratio on the car, so multimeter reading on a stationary car may be inconclusive.
