mechanical pencil accident...help me?
so i was playing with my friends, and i accidentaly stabbed my hand palm with mechanical pencil. (ouch~)
when i pull the mechanical pencil off my palm, i saw the pencil lead was gone. my palm bleeded for a while, and when the bleeding stopped i noticed there is a small black dot on my palm that won't go even after i washed my hand.
i'm afraid i have the pencil lead left there.
is it dangeous to be left untreated? i mean, could our body system wash it off?
it's clearly visible and i can feel it. should i do a little 'home surgery' to get it out?
I carried a piece of pencil lead in my finger since kindergarten. Maliciously stabbed by the kid sitting next to me. It has long since been absorbed, but there is still a dark spot there and I am now 39. I can't hurt you, but if it is bothering you, then dig it out of there. Just make sure you are sterile about it; you don't want it getting infected, after all.
