Potentiometer Actuator for Better Position Control
Man has created a variety of machines for successful accomplishment of tasks with minimum effort to maximize the result of his endeavor. Machines are instrumental in carrying out the processes in a number of sectors with manufacturing sector encashing the maximum benefit of the development. Linear actuator and potentiometer linear actuator are a result of this translation of human intelligence to make life more productive.
For developing force and motion, a linear actuator is a perfect mechanical device with a provided energy source, in a linear manner, as differentiated from rotational manner like an electric motor. There is an advanced model of linear actuator that fulfills the additional function of a potentiometer, useful to track the position of shaft while movement known as Feedback or Potentiometer linear actuator.

Both are different, because angular velocity and angular position both have different units and therefore different number values than the linear ones.
angular velocity is in (radians)/second, but linear velocity is in distance/second. The radian is usually put in parantheses this way, because it is not really a unit, but a dimensionless ratio.
Angular position is given in radians or in degrees from some reference direction, such as (standard) from the x axis of a graph. But linear distance must be in units such as cm, meters, feet, etc.
