The case of Scuderia Ferrari One Limited Edition by Cabestan embodies speed, power and aerodynamic perfection, and is made of a titanium alloy created for components of Ferrari Formula 1 cars. The single crystal enhances the distinctive visual lineage that is unmistakably Ferrari. On the sides, a special magnesium alloy was used to create likenesses of race car wheels and the lug nuts, that are emblematic of motor sports.

The motor is perfectly visible with its large wheel, stylishly engraved lightweight aluminum rotary drums and carbon fiber center plate. Even the leather strap, captures the emotion of Daytona leather seats of Ferrari automobiles.

The nucleus of the motor with its vertical gear-trains is a vertical tourbillon coupled with a miniature chain and fusée, a 6-speed automatic transmission, that compensates the torque curve of the mainspring and delivers a constant force to the movement resulting in amazing accuracy : ± 1 second per day.

The result is an exceptional timepiece, perfectly embodying the passion, excitement and performance of the Scuderia Ferrari.

Design

- Jointly developed by Jean-François Ruchonnet and the Ferrari Design Centre team inspired by Ferrari Formula 1 racing technology, materials and design.

Motor

- Calibre CAB EC 101, manually wound with Swiss lever escapement, entirely conceived, developed and built by the Cabestan manufacture.

- 809 components fully assembled and regulated by hand.

- Tourbillon regulated at 6 positions with constant force delivered by a system comprised of a chain and fusée (6-speed automatic gear system to equalize torque).

- Frequency: 21 600 alt/h or 3 HZ.

- Bréguet-style overcoil, Geneva stud.

- Balance amplitude : 240°.

- Vertical system of nickle-plated bronze wheels; rhodium-plated bottom plateand bridges; steel pinions.

- Stainless steel 160 mm chain with 235 links and 156 rivets, assembled manually.

- Central divder in carbon fibre composite used in Ferrari Formula 1 cars, with Scuderia Ferrari logo.

Does a fuse limit the power?

I just put my cars stereo system in and I did it with a thick 0 gauge wire, will the fuse holder defeat the purpose of having the large cable?

There will typically be a slight voltage drop through a fuse and fuse holder, just because of the extra resistance in the connections. If it's a good quality fuse holder, with clean and tight connections, the voltage drop won't be significant. Beyond that, a fuse only limits the power when it's blown.
