Disabling network adaptors?
Hi,
Im running a new USB audio interface and i keep getting audio drop outs during playback. The tech support from the manufacturers (Native Instruments) directed me to a latency checking tool that scans your computer to see if anything may interupt the audio. It did find something that seems to be an issue but it cant go into detail. It says that i should try disabling certain devices one by one (gave a list of devices you should and should not disable).
It recommended disabling my WLAN (which i cant find) and Network adaptors. If i disable the network adaptors im assuming i cant connect to the internet? and can i disable and enable them regulary by just choosing the option without any additional problems?
The 2 that show are:
Intel(R) Wireless WiFi link
Realtek RTL8102E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet
I dont really like messing with settings incase i encountr problems i cant fix (im no whizz kid)

You can "disable" and "enable" these internet connection devices via the hardware device listing.

Seems like you have a buggy USB device if you have to go thru this hassle to use it. I'd try another device.
