They test every valve made according to ASME/ANSI standards (MSS bubbles) and attach their signed and witnessed report to every valve they ship. The valves are safety relief valves installed on the boiler with a manual override. They will be used in a similar fashion as ValvTechnologies' isolation Electronic Relief Valve (ERV) which utilizes electronic controls to relieve system pressure, when necessary. I have a gate valve on my incoming water line would I get more pressure if I changed to a ball valve?
NO! Both a gate valve and a ball valve are FB type valves. Both give max pressure and volume.
