How do you program Flash EPROM?

If someone can tell me here or can point me out to a tutorial that will take me to the process (hardware and software). I am particularly interested in using this one ( https://www.jameco.com/Jameco/Products/ProdDS/242667AT.pdf ) due to the fact that I've had great luck with Atmel Chips in the past.

you connect a programmer to a pc either serial port or usb
you copy(download) the binary image of what you want to burn
down to the programmer
you insert your eprom into the programmer and then you press the buttons on the programmer to program it. this might involve you choosing from a list the model of eprom you have or it may
just auto-detect it.

you can see the burn process progress on the units display.
thats it
there is little or no point to having a tutorial.
the only bit you might not get is producing the image to be downloaded
and understanding the purpose and nature of sumchecks.
if you dont know how to do that then im not helping you any further.
