I got hit in the neck with 277v?
I was at work on a scissor lift working, there was wires hanging behind me uncapped and it hit my neck, I dont remember the hit I woke up in the hospital 3 hours later. I have been released from the hospital and im finding it hard to stay conscious, I went back to work tonight and I was useless, it seems now my jobs on the line. im not an electrician, and Im not sure what to do, also I have 2nd degree burns on my neck.
I am a technician and I have been shocked at least a dozen times, seriously, over the last decade. It's kind of a running joke where I work. You need to follow up with a doctor, be vigilant, if you are experiencing symptoms DO NOT leave that appointment until the doctor understands what is going on with you. If you are having a hard time staying conscious, you need to express that to your doctor, it may be a symptom of something.
