Does the Apple LED Cinema Display work with Windows computers?
I want to buy an additional monitor for my laptop.. I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NW225F running Windows 7. I was looking at the LED Cinema Display from Apple and I'm considering purchasing it, but I'm not sure if it will work with Windows computers..
The only Windows machines it will work with are those that have a video card with either a miniDisplayPort or a DisplayPort output, like one of the new DisplayPort-equipped ATI Radeon HD5000-series Eyefinity video cards.
The Apple LED Cinema Display will NOT accept a VGA, DVI or HDMI signal. It only works with miniDisplayPort or DisplayPort.
