How to program a garage door remote control
Programming a garage door remote is best done by reading the instructions that come with the remote you purchase. Certain remotes (and receivers) may have unique or specific ways in which to program. The following is general instructions that are applicable to most types of garage door remotes.
To begin with, it is imperative that the remote you purchase is compatible to your receiver. Compatibility is based on two things: frequency and coding technology. Common frequencies are 300, 315, and 390MHz. The coding technology will be either dip switch or learn button. Dip switch coding is a manual coding format that uses a set of 8, 9, 10, or 12 switches that can be set in 2 (binary) or 3 (trinary) positions in order to create a code combination. (With dip switch programming, be sure to match the number and type of dip switches as well.)
Having confirmed that your garage remote is compatible with your receiver, you are ready to program. If you are using dip switches your job is simple. Match the combination of the dip switches on the receiver to the remote and it is functional. While dip switches are easy to program, the limited number of code combinations make it the less safe option of the two.
Remotes that utilizes learn buttons can be programmed in a number of ways (which is why it is best to consult your remotes instructions). In most cases, however, the process begins by pressing the learn button on the receiver unit. Then, press and hold the button on the garage remote that will operate the garage door. Certain remotes will have an LED light blink a number of times to confirm the programming.

How do I get out of configuration mode on my PMR?
I recently got a PMR as a backup gun for my Eclipse Ego and the configuration was a little different. I wanted to turn the bps up so I went into config. mode, and now I can't turn it off. Do I set the dip switch back to normal mode? Also, is it true that if I turn the trigger sensitivity low enough, the gun will go into full-auto?
Congrats on a PMR, except it's my main marker (Grr, you and your ego!).
Just flip dip switch 2 back to off and it will go back to normal mode.
If your trigger is too sensitive, it might bounce and thus make it seem like you are shooting full auto but it's not something to worry about too much. What you should be worried about trigger sensitivity is that you shoot when you shouldn't and possibly hurt someone or yourself. I suggest you leave all the settings at stock except for the shooting modes and BPS caps.
If you WANT to shoot full auto, there is a "Secret" NXL mode and that is simply mode 4 on the shooting style.
1 is semi
2 is PSP
3 is millenium
and if you pull it 4 times, it will go to NXL (full auto). Just a little trick that exists in more Matrix markers.
