What is the uncertainty of a digital multimeter and an analog multimeter to measure the voltage of a DC?

We talk about the accuracy of the meter itself. This measure assumes that power low resistance power. An analog meter is 1% for a very good, as more than 3% for an average one, when adjusted for zero at zero. In average 3-digit digital multimeter is better than 1%, a very good market may be less. As the numbers increase the accuracy tends to increase, as the components of scale are more accurate too. A 4-digit is likely to be 0.1%, while 5 and 6 more expensive the bench numbers are so precise errors are more to do with how you connect to the circuit, due to small thermocouple effects etc. This error is usually a percentage of reading, and is a combination of the slope to zero, hysteresis and linearity errors, the accuracy of the calibration initial temperature, and drift from the initial calibration.
