what hvac thermometers should I get it subcooling superheat temperature sensor. Air conditioning?
I am a professional electrician, but also a handy man. I do some side work on residential air conditioning and am universal certified. Since it is not my profession, I did not want to spend 300 plus dollars on a k type pipe clamp with meter. I was looking for some tools fairly accurate that will not cost a fortune for subcooling, superheat, outdoor ambient, indoor air temp and maybe relative humidity. Please help thanks
Stick with the hammer & nails bit,..... you cannot make an esoteric stab at doing HVAC. If you cannot manage to make a commitment to buy the proper tools & equipment then leave it to those who stake their reputation on their work every day. We don't need another "handyman" making things harder than they already are with customer trust issues. If you were EPA universally certified in the responsible handling & use of refrigerants you would KNOW what you need and how to use it.
