Clamp Connector
A DC Battery Charger building
Connect the other two ends of your wires to the alternating current (AC) input side of the bridge rectifier. Connect one end of a red wire to the positive terminal of the bridge rectifier. Connect one end of a black wire to the negative terminal of the bridge rectifier. Strip 1/2 of an inch of insulation off of the other end of the black and red wires. Attach one large alligator clip to the end of each wire.
Look at the transformer. The transformer should have two terminals on one side labeled primary, The other side of the transformer should be labeled secondary and it should have three or more terminals. Connect the two wires of the power cord to the two terminals on the primary side of the transformer.
Plug the power cord into the transformer. Set the digital multimeter to read DC voltage. Clip the red positive alligator clip onto the red positive digital multimeter probe. Clip the black negative alligator clip onto the black negative digital multimeter probe. Observe the voltage reading on the digital multimeter. It should be reading between 11 and 13 volts.
Place a ring terminal over the positive wire and solder the terminal to the wire. Loosen and remove the top screw from the first battery clamp. Place the positive wire ring terminal over the screw hole, then reinsert the screw. Tighten the screw until it holds the ring terminal snugly to the clamp connector. Write the word "positive" on this clamp connector.
Cut four pieces of wire and strip 1/2 inch of insulation from each wire end. Solder one end of the first wire to one of the terminals on the transformer secondary. Solder one end of the second wire to the remaining terminal on the transformer secondary.
Twist together one end of the third wire jointly with the anode leads from the first and third diodes and solder this connection. Twist together one end of the fourth wire jointly with the cathode leads from the second and fourth diodes, and solder the connection.
Insert the free end of the fourth wire into the screw opening on the remaining clamp terminal. Insert the screw, and tighten the screw so that it holds the wire against the clamp firmly. Write the word "Positive" on this battery clamp.
Loosen and remove the top screws from both clamp terminals. Insert the free end of the third wire into the screw opening on the first clamp terminal. Insert the screw, and tighten the screw so that it holds the wire against the clamp firmly. Write the word "Negative" on this battery clamp.

what should i use to connect two steel auto fuel lines. will a brass union connector work?
ive read online about a different type of connector being held down by fuel injection house clamps but im not sure what type of connector they used.any suggestions
If the two lines you want to connect are the same size. One way is to use a piece of fuel injector line and two fuel injection hose clamps, this way is cheaper. Another way is to use a compression fitting to connect the two lines, this way cost more but is a more permanent connection. Either way will work, its up to you.
