Remote, yet safe, sunny beach, cheap accommodation, reasonable flights?
I'm looking for a place to travel to this summer. My ideal would be to sit on a sunny, sandy beach reading good books and eating fresh, local fruit. I'd like to go for an extended period, and thus accommodation would have to be very affordable, and flights from London or New York to not be a deal-breaker. I also worry about safety. Any contributions greatly appreciated!!
Depends on how far you want to travel. Are you flying from the UK or New York as there's kind of a huge difference there!
How about the South Pacific Islands (Rarotonga for instance) or Fiji - loads to explore in that part of the world. It is very safe and the accommodation is very cheap as is internal travel. Guaranteed sunshine, (but watch out for the mosquito's as they are a nightmare) and loads of fresh local fruit etc.
