Who invented the classic board game, Aggravation?

As a child, my friend says her aunt was given an original prototype for the game of Aggravation before it was sold to Parker Brothers or whoever. She played on it as small child. It was a wooden board, and it looked like the marble holes had been carved by hand. She never knew the name of the man or where he was from. Can anyone help?

Parker Brothers, Milton Bradley, etc. are all just conglomerates buying up ideas and making millions. There had to have been some original thinker who came up with it and got bought out for probably a few hundred or thousand. I remember that game from the 1960s and it was fun.
