How do I take apart a BNC male cable?

I think most BNC connectors are crimped on now days. The ones on aircraft coax cables are the old fashion type where you unscrew the nut on the cable side that puts pressure on the parts which clamp the shield.
So, as the other poster said, just cut it off and if you want another BNC on there, you will have to buy a crimper. Most are hexagon shaped. It the sleeve is in a hexagon shape (six sided) then it is crimped on.
