Macbook pro screen/backlight not responding?
Last night i took my macbook pro '07 and put it under a pillow just to keep it from view of the windows. It was in sleep mode. This morning i opened it to find a blank screen. I fiddle with keys and it makes sounds so ik its not dead. Backlight keys (f2) dont fix it. I tried the command alt p r thing but that disnt work. I removed the battery and all power sources, held the power button for 5 seconds and turned it on. No good. The white light on the opening latch glows as if it were in sleep mode. I willtry hooking it up to another screen and adjusting energy saving settings but so far nothing works. I cant even see anything a little bit like i should
to replace the inverter, lamp to fix the screen is about 100 dollars so fix it or replace it.
