Eclipse Auto to Manual Swap step by step help?
Hi, I have a 95 Manual Eclipse, and I was going to by another 95 as a parts car. The other one has an auto, so I wanted to exchange the whole tranmission system and sell the other one. Does anyone know any websites, or any help on how to do this step-by-step? I'm only 15,but I have all the parts too. Any help I would appreciate!
you might be alittle over your head with this one.
youll have to learn how to install, run all lines and bleed the slave cylinder( if its a hydraulic clutch)
propably customize brackets or atleast drill new holes for the brackets off the manual car...
run a neutral safety switch,,swap ecms..swap out radiators or plug the transmission cooling lines..
swap out center console... install the shifter
thats just the basic...look around for dsm exclusive forums...their usually packed with this kinda stuff.
best of luck...but your gonna need to know what your swaping out and how its supposed to work for this swap to go sucessfull at all.
