How to upgrade to a larger residential main electric panel.?
(My electrical experience: I've installed a sub panel and various branch circuits in my home; wired a 15hp 3phase motor and capacitor panel for a rotary phase converter. Also took the required electrical courses in engineering school including circuit analysis, electric motors and op amps.) The main panel is getting full, so I'd like to remove it and replace with a larger panel. It seems straight forward. Anyone have advice or a website with instructions? I guess I'll need to shut down the main feeder wires first.
