Is it possible to turn a transistor amp into a tube amp?
I have a Fender Mini Twin amp. It's basically a toy but it would be pretty amazing as a tube amp. I know I'll have to tear out much of the electronics in the amp but I really like the chassis.

If it has one power tube and one preamp tube, how long do you think it would last with a NiMH rechargeable 9 volt battery with max volume and medium gain?
You can't run tubes off a transister battery. Tubes require hundreds of volts.
The best you could do would be to scrap the existing chassis and install a tube amp in its place.
You might want to look into a mini tube amp instead.
