new amp, will it hurt to not run 0 gauge?

I got the new Hifonics BXI-2010D amp, wiring my subs to 2 ohms for 1300 watts. The amp says it accepts 0 gauge(molded) power wire. What does molded mean?

and I have 4 gauge wire running right now. Would this hurt if I used the 4 gauge wire for now until I get 0 gauge wire? I know I will not run as much current, I will eventually run 0 gauge, but would it hurt for now to run the 4 gauge to get the amp setup and test it out?

you should have no ploblems and 2 agu might be enough but 0 is better.
just keep from playing the heaviest continous bass tones at top volume but regular music with bass should be fine.
