Need electrical help : Electrical breakers keep tripping?

I have a newly remodeled basement with two circuits that control the outlets. On one circuit, I have a treadmill and when I get it to a higher speed, it trips the breaker. This breaker is a 20 amp GFI.

space heaters typically need to be on their own circuit, the wiring in most homes is 14/2 and rated at 15 amps, your entertainment center plus the space heater over load the ciruit which could go to several outlets, and no telling what you have plugged into those,

the GFI sounds like a typical problem with a motor, I would recheck the hook up of the breaker, sounds like the ground wire is not attached to a good ground, if it continues you might try replace the GFI, they are cheaply made,
