Is it bad to connect a new Xbox 360 power brick in an old console?
brick is 175 watts of output, but I do not know How is the Xbox. Xbox was a little black cap prevents me from connecting, but I broke out and he walks, he has worked, but I do not want not keep him permanently in something bad happens cases. and the brick has only 14.2 amps and 16 amps Xbox said idk if thats bad either. Help me?
Well, the brick will not burn your Xbox 360 as it provides less energy than your Xbox 360 will require. I'm assuming your power supply is newer Falcon (65nm CPU) that uses a little less power, but not so little that it will not work with your old Xbox 360. The new motherboard Jasper (65nm CPU and GPU) is 12.1 amps and the power does not produce enough juice for the original Xbox (in addition to the original power supply to provide juice for the chipset too Jasper), because of this outlet has been modified so they match.
